Brickell Dark Luxury Apartment
The Challenge
A Miami-based couple purchasing a high-floor apartment in Brickell had one non-negotiable: the space needed to feel bold and private — a deliberate counterpoint to the city's relentless brightness. They wanted a home that made a statement before a single conversation was had, a retreat that felt nothing like the glass-and-white interiors flooding the market.
Our Approach
We built the design around controlled darkness and textural contrast. The living room became a study in sophisticated restraint — a deep charcoal sectional anchored on a layered rug, centred on a single black marble coffee table that functions as a sculptural object. The signature move was bespoke floor-to-ceiling fluted wall panelling with an embedded vertical gold lighting strip: architectural presence that introduces warmth without conventional illumination. In the master suite, we embraced the drama fully — a full-height textured microcement headboard wall, custom linear track lighting, and a dedicated dressing alcove separated from the sleeping chamber by a freestanding architectural volume that creates two distinct, private experiences within one suite.
The Result
An apartment that operates like a sanctuary within a city of perpetual sunshine. The darkness is deliberate, enveloping, and deeply calming — the clients describe coming home as entering a completely different world. The fluted panels became a signature element that guests ask about at every occasion.

“We wanted to feel like we'd left the city the moment the door closed. Adi delivered exactly that — dark, quiet, and completely ours.”
